ARE WE IN A FAIL STATE?
​Are we in a fail state 2018, is an installation work at SOCA space as a part of the exhibition Geo-Scape, a geographical landscape and the people. The work is criticize on the social and political system of current circumstances with a strong metaphor of people marching in upside down position. Create with life-size textile figures with the star signs in their heart, the work represent the flag shape of people of Myanmar.
The work is based on the artist's early work "Buddha Stories (Shadow), 2010, and "Transparent Heart, 2008", both inspired of "Saffron Revolution" in 2007 all over the country uprising against dictatorship. The installations with light and sound using the paper cutting figures shown the different signs and motifs.
